Eilidh K. Lawrence is a Scottish songwriter (not so much with the singing) and writer of romantic fiction. She lives and writes in Glasgow, Scotland and dreams of Nashville, Tennessee. She once ran away with an American musician. It didn’t work out but she got to see Willie Nelson in concert, so that was pretty cool.
Influences: Dolly Parton (she has written Joylene’s Reply), Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Kriss Korstopherson, The Corries, Roddy Hart, Idelwild, The Proclaimers, The Pretenders, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Oasis, Blur, The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, Fleetwood Mac, REM, Regina Spektor. Oh, and Kylie, obvs.
